Description

Rare Albion Mk. II** Enfield style revolver. Chambered in .38/200, the British name for the .38 S&W cartridge. The rarest of the manufacturers of the Enfield service revolver for the British armed forces, this particular example is an especially rare "Mk. II**" model, which represents the final step in the wartime simplification process. Revolver is in exceptional condition for an issued weapon, and, while the intentionally crude wartime finish displays some expected marks from handling, is completely intact and free of major corrosion or marring. Lockup is very tight and trigger pull excellent, with a crisp break and short travel. An "N3'' marking is present in yellow on the left side of the receiver, likely a unit mark or rack number. Later style bakelite grips are fitted. Would make for a great collector piece, a cool companion for a period Lee-Enfield, or just a fun plinker.
