Excellent Little Mouse Gun

I am a fan of Beretta pistols & when I saw the Bobcat offered at a great price plus the $150 rebate, I had to have it. Out of the box it shot great with CCI Standard & Mini-Mag ammo both unsuppressed and suppressed. The fit and finish were flawless as well. The Bobcat will be great company to its bigger brother the Tomcat that I own.

Great mouse gun

Had the gun a couple of weeks. Shot 200 or so rounds of federal auto match with no problems. Safety was a little stiff at first, but loosened up after engaging/ disengaging a couple dozen times. I love these little berettas. I have the tomcat as well. Would buy again.

Great little gun

This is great little 22. Well built like any Beretta. Tilt the barrel open and drop in a round and start at double action and go to single action. Rack the slide and go straight to single action. It's a fun little gun and a great suppressor host.

Awesome pocket pistol

Great quality as expected from Beretta. This is an awesome lightweight small pistol prefect for easy pocket carry. The treaded barrel will be fun once I get to try out a suppressor, don't have one yet. First range trip it ran great, 300rds of mixed ammo. Only 3 hiccups with feeding, which all cleared easily. They were lead HP, all copper plated ran fine. and plenty of lead did also. Very happy with the gun, now also considering the 32.

Satisfied

Beretta 21A Bobcat is just what I expected. Slide was a little stiff and dry out of the box but nothing a quick clean and some lube didn't fix. Running smooth now. Purchase experience thru Gunprime was simple and shipping was quick. Ordered on Monday and arrived at my FFL on Thursday. Will be getting a Tomcat from Gunprime before the rebate ends.

Great gun at a great price!

Worked flawlessly for me with both standard and subsonic ammo. Slide was VERY hard to retract until broken in, but the tip up barrel made this not so important. Shipping was very fast!

Goes bang

I’m really glad I got if for the price after rebate. I have an older jet fire and bobcat that I’d had threaded by tornado tech. Those two shoots lights out, with it without a can. Seriously like hit man sized steel at 40 yards.
This new one groups like hell. Tried cci standard, mini mag, armscor and SB junk tier ammo. Nothing grouped well at all.

Granted everything was a little stiff being new, but I had to work the safety over 100x to get it be actuate-able with a firing grip.

I still think it’s fun as hell and glad I spent the serious coin on more finely made examples, but if you just want to scratch the itch of a suppressed bobcat this is definitely the better value.

Awesome experience with gun prime and they didn’t jack their prices like others during the rebate. A+++

Great product

Tried to buy about a year ago when on sale but missed getting a good deal.
Sale with $150 rebate appeared again and i IMMEDIATELY ordered it!
Plastic grips cause my trigger finger to be in bad position.
Put on Pierce Rubber Wrap Around grips and drilled out mag release so the button didn’t hang/drag.
Also has thumb and trigger finger “cut outs” and larger grip really fills out the hold.
Now finger tip is in proper position and love shooting it!
Wish I’d bought sooner!!

Fast Shipping; gun as advertised

Very good experience with GunPrime. If I recall, I placed the order on a Monday, late afternoon. It shipped Tuesday morning, shipping notification Tuesday afternoon. I am reasonably close to the particular warehouse it shipped from and the FFL I use turns things around quickly, so I had the gun Wednesday afternoon. Your milage will obviously vary, but that may have been the quickest I've ever had a gun ship.

As for the gun itself, it was basically as advertised (and by advertised, I mean YouTube reviews). If you're buying it because you don't have the hand strength to rack a slide, do consider the hand strength you'll need to pull the trigger in double action. It is quite heavy. I didn't have my trigger gauge handy, but I'd estimate it at > 12 lbs (max on my gauge, confirming YouTube reviews). The slide safety was kind of hard to actuate one handed to the "on" position, but that may soften up over time. Could still turn it off one handed with my thumb. Still have a low round count through the gun (~50 rounds) with no malfunctions across the two manufacturers I brought with me to the range that day (Federal Automatch and Aguila Super Extra). I got a mini-fireball out of the short barrel, which is kind of fun. Did not shoot suppressed. Sights are minimal, and the black front sight on the black groove in the slide is a little hard to pick up. I'd say good accuracy for what it is (which is a 2.4" barrel .22 LR pocket pistol). 2-ish inch groups at 7 yards? I bought this as a combination collection piece / deal (sale + rebate), and with that in mind I am pleased. Obviously there are better self defense rounds, but I'd say this is definitely a viable pocket pistol in .22 LR. The tip up barrel is different and something unique to have in your collection.
