Description

Here we have a nice HK4 with serial number 50264, made in 09/1973 and chambered in 7.65mm, that also comes with a 22 LR conversion kit.

The HK4 is a semi-automatic pocket pistol designed by Alex Seidel and introduced by Heckler & Koch in 1967. It is based mainly on the Mauser HSc design, with a straight blowback action, double-action trigger, and slide-mounted safety. The gun can also be converted to a rimfire chambering (.22 LR) by rotating the removable breech face.

The HK4 was successful in the market due to its high manufacturing quality and easy caliber change, but it did not offer serious competition to established Walther PP and PPK pistols. Its most significant success was being adopted by West German customs as their service weapon. A total of 26,550 pieces were produced for the civilian market, 12,400 for the West German police force, and 8,700 for the US market.
